Welcome

The Wah-Zha-Zhi House Bed and Bath is located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, one hour north of Tulsa. We offer 3 distinct properties with various layout and size options to meet any need.  Located in a quiet  residential area about 6 blocks from downtown shops and the mercantile. Pawhuska is the county seat for Osage County and home to the Osage Nation.  Fans come to Pawhuska from all over the world to see Ree Drummond, star of the Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman. Pawhuska is the gateway to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, bought in 1989 by the Nature Conservancy; it is the largest protected remnant of tallgrass prairie left on earth.  Hundreds of people drive the scenic 10-mile bison loop hoping to spot some of the 2,500 free roaming bison and other wildlife such as birds, butterflies, and deer. Nearby Bluestem Lake has a surface of 762 acres and 19 miles of shoreline. Fishers try their hand at hooking whiskered channel catfish, speckled crappie, largemouth bass, spotted bass, ray-finned sunfish and white bass. Hikers and explorers venture toward the spillway to catch sight of the rushing Bluestem Falls.

The Wah-Zha-Zhi House Bed and Bath opened in 2007 and is owned by an Osage woman.
